Embracing 2018 Sports Grants Program

$500,000 has been awarded to 13 state sporting organisations that deliver Commonwealth Games sports, under the Embracing 2018 Sports Grants Program.

The funding will be used to develop projects that encourage grass-roots sports participation, and demonstrate lasting legacy benefits.

Developed in partnership with the Department of National Parks, Sport and Racing, these projects will be delivered in communities across Queensland during 2018.

The program is funded by the Australian Government, through the Embracing 2018 Legacy Program for the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games.
